Portadown face Limavady United at home this Saturday still searching for their first league victory of the campaign. The fixture at Shamrock Park offers a chance to move off the foot of the Premiership table, where they sit 12th with just one point from nine games.
Their form shows five defeats and a single draw from the last six outings. The most recent was a 2-0 loss away to Ballymena United last Thursday, with goals from Freddy Thorndike and Igor Rutkowski sealing the result. Stephen O'Mahoney's strike against Bangor is their only goal in the last four matches.
Manager Paul Doolin is expected to assess his squad ahead of the weekend. The team has conceded 19 goals this season while scoring only five, leaving them with a goal difference of minus fourteen.
Limavady United arrive in 10th place, having taken seven points from their opening fixtures. The match kicks off at 3pm on October 3rd at Shamrock Park.
